18th Jeonju International Film Festival 

The 19th Jeonju International Film Festival will be held in Jeonju for 10 days from May 3, 2018 (Thursday) to May 12 (Saturday). 
At this year"s Jeonju International Film Festival, Jeonju will show the value of " diversity of taste " and " new movie experiences " in one direction : the pursuit of profit from art. It is an opportunity for film writers from all over the world to meet and bond with each other, supporting the discovery of potential stars in future films, creative experiments and independent spirits. 
The slogan of the 19th Jeonju International Film Festival has been decided to be the outlet for the movie"s expression since last year. The slogan is " The attitude that the festival should stick to, " and " The direction of this year"s programming. " Jeonjo International film festival will also create a culture of film using arguments created by challenging works and attitudes to respect visual diversity and embrace differentiated preferences. It is also a sign of a determination to further solidify the spirit of the festival, which has supported free speech under all pressure. This year, the Jeonju International Film Festival will also share the vision and views of the world of movie writers without setting limits on political and artistic expression. 
The festival will consist of a total of 241 films, including 61 of the World Premier League, 5 films of the International Premier League and 52 films of the Asian Premier League. The venue for the event will be held at the 19 opening of all fivetheaters. The opnening and closing ceremony takes place at the Jeonju Lounge, while the regular theaters are CGV Jeonju , Megabox Jeonju (Gang san), Jeonju cinema Town , Jeonju Digital Independent Film Center, and Jeonju Dome. Jeonju Project Market events are held at the Jeonju Hotel, while program events and auxiliary events are held at the Jeonju Lounge, Jeonju Film Production Center, Kirin Exhibition Hall and Youth Mall.
The Jeonju International Film Festival has prepared several events, including classes, exhibitions, performances, unit events, and an open air stage. It was arranged for the director or film expert to share the back story of the film and how the problematic film was made. In addition, the existing Cinema Class has arranged to spend some time with major Korean directors. We wanted to increase the chance for creators and audiences to enjoy the film rather than simply consume it by increasing the amount of time spent on it
This year, Jeonju Lounge will welcome both its audiences and guests with its richer contents : its " Jeonju Dome " screening, its " resting place " and " something to enjoy. " You can also expect a solid Jeonju lounge.
