1. Please introduce yourself

I am HOANG THU QUYNH, a senior in English literature. My nationality is Vietnamese, and I am 23 years old this year. It has been more than 4 years since I came to Korea.

2. What is the most memorable thing about your studying abroad?

It was hard to choose because I had a lot of precious memories while studying abroad. The most impressive thing among them was when I came to Korea about three months. I remembered my first time of studying in Korea that , I couldn't eat kimchi, perilla leaves, and bean sprouts.

3. What was the most difficult thing during your studying abroad?

There were many difficulties while studying abroad alone. I think the hardest part is the pronunciation of native speakers. It's hard to speak Korean like a Korean at first and now. When I first came to Korea, I remember holding chopsticks in my mouth while reading a book. My listening skills have improved a lot so far, but I think my speaking skills are still lacking. Also, I didn't make many friends, and especially, I was more lonely living alone

4. What are your plans for the future?

My immediate plan is to challenge my double major in school. And I want to get more certificates such as TOEIC, TOEFL, especially GMAT. After graduation, I want to go to graduate school in the United States or England.

5. Please say something to international students and our university students.

There are proverbs such as "You are young and suffer even if you buy" and "A thousand miles of road starts with one step." No matter how hard and tired you are, don't give up. Let's work hard together, thinking that all of our hardships will be rewarded in the not-too-distant future!
