Our university museum holds various cultural lectures, invitation lectures, and special exhibitions to provide opportunities for members of the school and local residents to understand local culture and enjoy culture. Our university museum contains a wide history from prehistoric times to modern times. The museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00 for free. It is closed every Sunday, New Year's Day, and Chuseok holidays and January 1 every year, so please refer to this. Located at 240 Haemang-ro (167 Jangmi-dong), Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do, the Gunsan Modern History Museum is a local museum with the theme of Gunsan modern culture and marine culture. It consists of the Marine Logistics History Museum and the Children's Experience Hall on the first floor, the Independent Hero Hall and the Donor Exhibition Hall on the second floor, and the Modern Living Hall and the Planning Exhibition Hall on the third floor. The Gunsan Modern History Museum is open from 9:00 to 18:00 in the summer (March to October) and from 9:00 to 17:00 in the winter (November to February), and is closed every Monday, January 1 and the day designated by the mayor. Admission fees is based on the following categories: adult, youth, soldiers, and children, and for Gunsan citizens. They are 1,000 won, 500 won, and 300 won, respectively.
