2019 College Scholastic Ability Test

 As the application for the nonscheduled[rolling] admission to the university has ended, it has passed the turning point for the college entrance in 2019. Now, the 2019 CSAT(College Scholastic Ability Test) is just around the corner. In Korea, the CSAT is the biggest event of November. Many test takers and their parents will be praying that they will do well on the CSAT. As a result of the test, they may or may not go to the university they want. This is why it can change one's destiny and important. So, many Korean high school students study a lot for this day. The date of this year's 2019 CSAT is Thursday, November 15, and those who take the test are high school seniors, graduates or those who are equally qualified. At this point, high school students, college students and repeat students who studied hard for the CSAT must be very enthusiastic.

 Let's find out about the CSAT. The purpose of the CSAT is as follows. First, the ability to measure the required math skills of university education is the fairness and objectivity of the selection. Second, the subject that corresponds to the content and level of the high school curriculum contributes to normalizing high school education. Finally, it is a test that has reliability and validity based on the individual study ability, and it provides highly fair and objective college admission data.

 About 590,000 students took the test in 2019, a slight increase from the previous year. The test areas are six such as Korean, Math, English, Korean history, social or scientific studies, job exploration, second language or Chinese writing. The nonscheduled[rolling] admission was held from September 10 to September 14, and if there is universities requirements to meet the minimum grade cut of the CSAT, they will not be able to ignore the regular test because they have to get good grades on the test. Even the relatively disadvantaged middle-ranking school students have the opportunity to reverse the situation.

 There are probably many test-takers who are spending tense days thinking about the upcoming CSAT.
