About 2017 Holidays

After 2016, which was long and eventful, 2017 is finally here. There were so many eventful affairs around the world in 2016. As a result, the year 2017 seems to have a new meaning. In 2017, I hope it will be a more relaxing year than 2016. I also hope that in 2017, not only new things but also good things will happen to everyone. In that sense, I think that holidays are important for people to enjoy. Holidays are very important for middle and high school students as well as college students and workers. These are the only days that you can relax in a busy life.

The Holidays and the Academic Calendar of Kunsan National University

Now, let's plan to use these holidays in accordance with Kunsan National University' s schedule. A short holiday on January 1, from the 2nd to the 9th of the month, there is an application for the first semester. On the 6th, by the end of the long winter season term, practically the semester of Kunsan University in 2016 is over. Unfortunately, there are no holidays in February when we celebrated the New Year holidays from 27th to 30th in January, but we have something to do. First, there is a course registration from 13th to 15th which is responsible for one semester. Second, after course registration, student registration is more important. It’s is from 21st to 24th. These should never be forgotten. After these important dates, finally the first semester starts on March 2nd. Unfortunately, there is no holiday in April; however, the midterm exam is from 20th to 26th. After the midterm exam that everyone worked hard, the only thing is left to play. Resting on the Buddha's birthday on May 3rd and Children's day on the 5th, there is Hwangryong Sports Festival from 10th to 12th. Since we will be playing hard until the 6th of June Memorial Day, it is time to study again. We have to take make-up classes from June 8th to 13th. We will take a rest on the 3rd, 5th, 10th to 12th of May and 6th of June. After this, the most important final exam is from the 14th to the 20th. Finally, we finish the first semester. We will have fun from the 20th. It’s time to find out our grades that we all care about. It is from 28th June to 4th July. Since the pleasure at the end of the course is bigger, I think it will be okay.

Since then, we will have a pleasant vacation until August 15th National Liberation Day. From 16th to 18th, the important course registration for the second semester comes back. Unfortunately, there is no holiday in September after the National Liberation Day. Instead, it is the beginning of the second semester again on 1st September. The 2017 Hwangryong Festival for hard-studying students will take place from the 20th to the 22nd. I hope you enjoy it. There is good news that we have lots of holidays in October: Chuseok from 3rd to 6th October and Hangul Proclamation Day on the 9th. However, the midterm exam is around the corner from 20th to 26th in October. Unfortunately, there is no holiday in November. We have to take make-up classes for those holidays in October. From the 15th to the 22nd, the second semester final exam comes. Then finally, on the 22nd, everyone is waiting for the end of the second semester.
