Best Travel Destination for Summer Vacation

Domestic Travel (Nae Il Lo)

Have you heard Nae Il Lo? Nae Il Lo is a product traveling by railroad. The product has been sold since 2007. The product enables the user to use the train service, but is limited to standing and free seats. Also the product can be booked only by young people. The ticket is sold only to those under 25 years of age. There are two kinds of such ticket: 5-day and 7-day. 5-day tickets cost 56,500 Won and 7-day cost 62,700 Won. Many people enjoy domestic travel by railroad. It has received attention from many tourists and some sites have been developed. Let’s introduce some spots.

The first spot is Jeonju.

Jeonju is a traditional city. Kyeong- Ki-Jeon in Han-Ok Village is wonderful and popular. Han-Ok village has many types of street food, unusual and intimate shops, guest houses and things to see. People can borrow Han-Bok and electric wheel, etc.. Also night market and Youngman Mall are interesting to see. Gillguria and Betaerang kalnoodles are well-known to tourists. The place can make memories with their friends, family or couples. Not only Han- Ok village, but also Mural village and 

The second site is Gunsan.

Gunsan was a center of Japanese exploitation so that the city still has remains from the Japanese colonial era, for example, Hiros House, Dongguksa Temple and Goudang. Chowon photo studio was a filming site for the movie, ‘Christmas in August.’ The site is one of the best photo zones. Railway village is a recent fad. Jirinsung is a popular Chinese restaurant. Chili jajangmyeon is the best menu there . Isungdang bakery is an essential site for tourists to visit. 

The third place is Damyang.

Metasequoia road is a beautiful place where people can take a good picture. Bamboo is the symbolic icon representing Danmyang. Juknokwon has been used for a filming site for a number of movies. Many lights are installed there, so people can walk around at night. Rice in a bamboo tube and tteok-galbi (grilled short rib patties) are popular food in Damyang. 

ext place is Suncheon.

Suncheon has been chosen as one of the preferred destination for tourists to visit again. Naganeupseong is a typical travel spot. Travelers can enjoy various traditional experiences there. Suncheon drama filming site is a promising place. The filming site has re-created 1950s. Suncheonman bay and Suncheonman bay garden are very beautiful sites. Suncheonman bay is a world-famous swamp and rare types of birds visit the site. Reed field is gorgeous. 

Busan is an awesome place to traveller.

China town is located near the Busan Station. Especially, Jangsunghyang appeared in the movie, “Old Boy.” Bosu- dong book alley reminds people of old times again. People are overwhelmed with emotions. Busan Nampo-dong Market and night market have many attractions and food. Lately Gamcheon- dong Culture Village has become a hot place. Also Mil-myeon and Pork and rice soup are the most famous food in Busan.

Next place is Gyeongju.

I’m sure almost everyone has been to Gyeongju . Gyeongju has a 

nickname,which is city of millenary. Gyeongju has historic cultural sites and ancient ruins. The city is filled with a thousand years of history and culture. There are numerous types of ancient ruins; among them, the three most common are Cheomseongdae, Anapji pond and Bulguksa temple. 

The last place is Gangneung.

Gangneung is a typical tourist attraction in Gangwon-do. Samyang Ranch is a wonderful place to take a picture. So is Gyeongpodae Pavilion. Many people enjoy their summer vacation in there. 

Nae Il Lo is good at domestic traveling, especially, suitable to university students. But some people don’t know the beauty of every nook and cranny of the land in Korea. Why aren’t you fascinated by domestic travel this summer? 

Many university students want to travel overseas, but they don’t have enough money. So they choose closer and cheaper destinations. There are three sites, which clearly offers these conditions. 

Japan is the first site.

Korea and Japan are geographically 

close from one another. Recently, the exchange rate of Japan fell drastically. So are airfares. Japan is a famous global tourist attraction. Above all, Osaka is the best choice. As Osaka is a global tourist attraction, has many cultural relics and things to see and enjoy. Moreover, Osaka provides tourists with high quality service. There are Korean traffic 

signs at subway stations. Japanese are very kind. Japanese food is very wonderful. Universal Studio Japan is a lot of fun. Particularly, Hogwarts Castle has been built in the Universal Studio in Japan. Also, Osaka is conveniently located. For example, Osaka is close to Kyoto. Kyoto is a traditional city, which calms people down. Visiting a hot 

springs resort with your parents is also a good choice.

The second place is Shanghai, China.

Shanghai is the 8th largest city in the world. Unlike people’s stereotype, Shanghai is a large and modern city. The Bund is lined with European style building. It is called “The World Construction Museum” because ther 

are many buildings built in styles of many different countries. This is a good place to enjoy its night views. Fudong Economic District is really fantastic too. Shanghai Museum is the largest in China. Shanghai Museum is 

located in the People’s Plaza, but the most important site is the Provisional Government of Korea in Shanghai. Everyone Korean must go there and remember our history.

The last place is Taiwan. 

Taiwan is the mecca of backpacking. Many students go to Taiwan. Best places in Taiwan include Taipei, Jiufun, Spun and Jinguashi. Taipei is the capital of Taiwan. Jiupun provides tourists with the taste of old Taiwan. Red light 

streets in Jiupun are a wonderful place

and were used as a background in the ‘Spirited Away.’
