Changes in Kunsan University

For better and more comfortable campus life, Kunsan university. is on construction.

It has been 1 year since it started interior repair to revise the Art department building from spring semester in 2014. Everything including classes, toilets and even each department office has been changed. The walls were newly painted. The ceiling and the floor have been arranged neatly. Furthermore, the university. made study rooms for students. The biggest change is toilets. They were too small to accommodate many people buy now huge number of people can use repaired toilets. Their facilities are now clean so they give a good atmosphere for users. University. also revised the club rooms so students can now interact with their seniors. As many people use this building for their liberal arts classes, many people devoted their whole energy to this long term construction.

University. ordered to arrange the roads for students. Former roads were not so safe to walk along. Now they are not bumpy anymore and crosswalks were newly painted. Also, there’s a road for only bicycle users. This separated roads(for the pedestrians only and for the bicycle users only) will make students comfortable. Furthermore, the university. paved the road with asphalt for car users.

University. changed desks in laboratory. Students can get injured by old facilities easily. And shelves of experiment equipment left dirty marks all over the floor. While replacing the experiment desks, the old reagent and equipment were also arranged. Now it is possible to conduct experiments for students in a good environment. Since there were not enough workers, students spared their own time to arrange the lab. They spoke throughout the session and started to get to know some of their senior-junior.

This work is still in progress. Academy Hall that owns the largest hall in the university started repair. Since the building houses many students, workers are paying attention to its safe re-construction. Cafeteria is no longer available because of the construction. But they are enduring for a better Kunsan University. We hope that the new building would be long-lasting and durable for student safety.

In this way, for better and comfortable campus life, the university supported generously. Before designing the university with financial support, there was a shining sweat poured out by students which no one knew about it. Realizing students’efforts, many people should take care of their university facilities.
