Foreign student, 任少玮

When you walk in school, we can often see foreign student. In this article, I took a one step closer to foreign students through a simple question in order to increase interest and be a good friend to them.

❙Q. Please, introduce yourself simply.

❙A. Hello. I am 任少玮(REN SHAOWEI) from China, Shāndōng Province. I am department of economics and 3rd grade.

❙Q. Why did you come to Korea studying abroad?

❙A. I want to work in Korea-China joint financial venture after graduating university.

❙Q. Why are you interested in Korea?

❙A. Korean waves are significantly influential in China. Among them, I am interested in Korean drama.

❙Q. What Korean drama did you watch, recently?

❙A. I recently watched Descendants of the Sun and W.(웃음)

❙Q. While living in Korea, what is better than China?

❙A. Korea has better environment than China. Fine dust or smog phenomenon is even less than China.

❙Q. Then, what make you hard while living in Korea?

❙A. I am not good at understanding Korean so I’m difficult communicating with other people. Also, major classes are too hard.

❙Q. How about school’s dormitory and meal service? Are you satisfied with them?

❙A. Dormitory is very good to warm in winter because of heating equipment. But 희망관 that has no air conditioner is too hot. Except for this part, I am satisfied with most of the things.

❙Q. What is your favorite subject?

❙A. Refinement class of Korean. I am fun to study Korean.

❙Q. Next, I ask you questions that Gunsan university students wonder.

Who is the top of economics’ foreign students that learn the same major subject?

❙A. Me and 于航(YU HANG) mostly take the top position.

❙Q. How much pocket money do you receive?

❙A. My case is exceptional. I receive 1.5 million won per semester.

❙Q. Are you working part-time job now or do you have friends who is working part-time job?

❙A. No, I’m not working part-time job. Friends who are good at speaking Korean are working in restaurant and if not, working in factory.

❙Q. What is your favorite brand?

❙A. I like MCM. I use this brand’s wallet.
