Interview of Foreign Students at Kunsan University

1. Please introduce yourself!

Hello. My name is Zoujing (조우진, 邹静). I come from China(Shanxi hanzhong). I have been in Korea for 7 months. I'm 20 years old in Korean age. My major is in the Department of Commerce and Trade and I am in the first grade. And I am really interested about Korea Fashion Culture! I'm gonna open my dream here and try to work hard and try hard to do a good job to get a student's job.

2. Why did you come to Korea and Kunsan University?

The reason why I came to Korea is for my parent's wishes and the desire for Korean clothing culture and beauty. That's why I started looking for a great place to live. Also, my Chinese teacher advised me to study in Korea. And I want to learn many things in Korea and make a lot of money later. So I came to Kunsan University to learn more Korean.

3. What was the difficult part of learning about Korea and what is your favorite Korea culture?

Learning Korean was the most difficult in Korea because of different languages. I wanted to get Korean friends first and get close, but I couldn't because Korean was difficult. And I usually don't like sweet and spicy food, but Korean food is sweet and spicy, so it was a little hard. My favorite food in Korea is udon. Ah! And I like Kimchi. Ha ha!

My favorite culture in Korea is the fashion street of Korea. I am usually interested in fashion, but I like the fashion street of Myeong-dong or Hongdae in Korea. And I like the scenery of the beach in Korea. In China, it is difficult to see the scenery of the beach, but seeing the scenery of the beach in Korea makes me feel better and healing.

4. What is your goal in Korea?

Actually I want to create my own fashion company and I want to internationalize myself. So I want to make friends who learn art and design and start a company together. I will be responsible for the company's operation and management system with my friends. So I will try to be more diligent while I am at Kunsan University. Since I was too lazy last semester, I want to be more diligent this semester and leave many good memories in Korea. I am now studying 12 hours each day for better grades. And I want to speak Korean and English better, so I am studying Korean every evening. So I want to finally become a household name in the clothing industry.
