Let me introduce our school dormitory

Our university has dormitories for students from other areas in Korea and students from other countries. As of 2020, the Kunsan University dormitory is composed of five male and four female dormitories. The management building for students' lives and safety includes of a restaurant, an administrative office, and a fitness center.

There are five halls for male students: Jin-Ri Hall, Chang-Jo Hall, Bong-Sa Hall, Hee-Mang Hall and BTL. There are four girls' halls: Dong-Baek Hall, Mo-Ran Hall, Mae-Hwa Hall, and Seok-Rweu Hall, making a total of nine student dormitories. 1,007 male and 530 female students use the student dormitories, making a total of 1,537.

In the management building, there is a restaurant, an administrative office, and a fitness center. Students can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day at the restaurant at a set time, and the restaurant provides nutritious and health-conscious meals. The administrative office manages and oversees student life, and handles administrative and civil complaints. The fitness center has a table tennis court and a fitness room to help students manage their health and improve their physical strength, and students are free to use it during set times.

The most important thing in using dormitories is the roll call. Students are allowed 24-hour access through the entry system at the entrance door, but those who enter between 23:50-05:30 will be given a penalty according to the rules. Every day at 12 a.m. the staff visit the students' room to check their attendance and health conditions. Students can apply for overnight stay before 23:00. Students who are absent will be given a penalty.

Lastly, I ask you to be considerate of others and refrain from making loud noises inside the dormitory because dorms are not used alone but are places where many people live together. I want you to know and abide by the rules of the dormitory and enjoy your dormitory life.
