With the prolonged COVID-19, 20 months have passed since our university also conducted non-face-to-face classes. A year has passed since the classmates who entered our university last year failed to go to school properly, and this year will continue. Maybe you can graduate without proper campus activities. So this time, let's look at the events currently being held at our university.

The first is Gallery It_Da. Gallery It_Da is located on the second floor of the Hwangryong Cultural Center and opened in January this year. The meaning of Gallery It_Da if connect people to people and university to region by culture and art from motif of our university ‘connecting world with people’ Gallery It_Da has been exhibiting a variety of exhibitions so far, including calligraphy exhibitions, graduation exhibitions of industrial design convergence technology departments, individual exhibitions of Cho Soon-gil, and billing exhibitions for Ph.D. Luoyang. Gallery It_Da is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is not open on holidays.

Currently, the 2021 MATINE CONCERT & POP-UP SHOW is being held at Gunsan University Living Lab Talk. The event is a concert in which piano performance in the music department of Gunsan University's art department harmonizes with visual design exhibitions in the Department of Industrial Design, with nine pianists participating to play a light and comfortable repertoire for each week, and eight designers plan good design through digital media. Professor Park Kyu-yeon of Gunsan University Music, who prepared the event, said, "The art after COVID-19 is expected to constantly make new and fun artistic attempts amid face-to-face and non-face-to-face boundaries," adding, "We hope this event will provide healing time to members and citizens of Gunsan University." The event runs from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday and runs until December 8.

With the prolonged COVID-19, people became reluctant to go outside. However, sometimes I hope you can go outside to relax and have a healing time to organize your thoughts while breathing fresh air. I hope it will be an opportunity to heal your mind through this experience, rather than studying in a class or library and going home.
