Solongo Bat-Unur Student Dreaming of Becoming a Fashion Designer

Q. Please introduce yourself first.

Hello, my name is Solongo Bat-Unur. I am from Mongolia, a land of blue sky and beautiful nature, and I am 24 years old. And I got a bachelor's degree as a fashion designer in Mongolia. Now, I am pursuing a master's degree in fashion business while living in Korea.

Q. What are you studying at our university?

I came to our university for Korean language training last June. It has been 3 months since I learned Korean.

Q. What was the most impressive thing at our university?

I really enjoyed the school campus. Moreover, our university seems very friendly to students who study here. Everything we need is close to the college campus, so I don't have to go anywhere else and waste my time.

Q. Isn't life hard in Korea?

Of course, I have some difficulties such as △ language barrier △ cultural differences △ making friends with people. In my case, I learned Korean from the beginning, However it wasn't as easy than I thought. At first, I had a lot of difficulties talking to people and expressing myself, but now my Korean is getting better step by step, so I hope my Korean will become more fluent in the future and communication will be easier.

Q. Lastly, if you have anything you want to say to international students, please feel free to ask.

Learning Korean is not as easy as learning your mother tongue. But even if it's a little difficult, I hope you achieve your goal with passion to learning. And I hope that not only international students but also all our schoolmates will have a fun and memorable time in Korea!
