The present and future of student
summer vacation, future goals and resolutions
1. Hello? First, please introduce yourself.
Hello? My name is Chen Tsujie. I'm from China. My age is 25. I'm in the Department of Logistics.
It's been about a year and a half since I came to Gunsan from China.
As I was interested in Korean trade, I wanted to study in Korea, so I came to Gunsan, a trading city, in order to learn various trade technologies.
2. What did you do during the summer vacation?
During the summer vacation, I went to Seoul, the capital of Korea, to improve my vision and ability. I was able to talk to various people while staying with my friends there. However, I had to work part time at a restaurant because prices in Seoul were so high. And during the semester, I cannot go to Seoul because I am busy due to my studies.
Therefore, I could not lose this opportunity and I looked around numerous historical sites such as Gyeong-bok Palace. Also, I like amusement parks and rides a lot, so I went to Lotte World and other amusement parks to relieve my stress.
My view has become much wider in Seoul as I talked with various people. Next time I have time, I want to visit other cities and travel.
3. Could you tell me about your plan for the second semester?
My goal is very easy to say, but it takes a lot of time and effort to make up my mind and implement it. Everyone is determined to get better grades next semester than this semester, but, almost all students study hard only when the exam is just around the corner.
My goal is to graduate on time without deferring my graduation. Also, my second goal is to complete my graduation thesis safely.
4. Could you answer about your goals before going to China?
The first thing I have to finish safely before I go to China is graduation. I came to Korea to get a degree in Korea. Even before I came to Korea, my first priority was graduation. I'm also thinking about entering graduate school after graduation. Because I want to learn more and gain more knowledge! And I want to make more Korean friends at school or outside activities! Because I want to improve my Korean skills! Thank you!
