We walk in Autumn

 Summer, a season of fresh green leaves, has passed, and autumn is here to prepare for the end of the year. The green trees show off their red and yellow colors, and brown leaves are falling to the floor. Let me introduce you to Gunsan's autumn attractions where we can enjoy this season as a gift.

 First, Wolmyeong Mountain is the representative mountain of Gunsan. Wolmyeong Mountain is not high, at about 101 meters, so citizens can climb it without any burden. At the top of Wolmyeong Mountain, there is a torchshaped tower as a symbol of Gunsan, which requires climbing a lot of stairs to see it. It may be a bit exhausting, but once you reach the top, you will see the extensive view of downtown Gunsan and the Geumgang River estuary bank. In autumn, cosmos flowers bloom beautifully on the Wolmyeong Lake Walkway, and it will remain a good memory if you take a walk with flowers, feeling the calm breeze of autumn.

 The second spot is Gunsan Cheongam Mountain. Unlike Wolmyeong Mountain that is located near downtown Gunsan, Cheongam Mountain is located in Oksanmyeon, which is located just a short distance from downtown. Although it is a little less well-known than Wolmyeong Mountain, the scenery of Cheongam Lake promenade is the best. The reeds representing autumn are shown along the promenade, attracting many climbers. Cheongam Mountain is famous for its Gubul Road. Gubul Road consists of a walkway that is generally Gubul 4-Road (Gusul-gil) and a hiking walkway that is Gubul 5-Road (Waterlight Road). The Gubul 4-Road, a hiking walkway, is 18.4 kilometers long and the Gubul 5-Road is 18.8 kilometers long. So, it takes quite a long time to complete. Cheongam Mountain also has a camping site, which is a good place to enjoy glamping. So we recommend visiting if you want to make special memories.

 Lastly, we would like to recommend Suncheon Bay Wetland in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do. It takes about two hours to drive Gunsan to Suncheon, and Suncheon is a place that doesn't miss out on recommendations as a autumn attraction spot. If you look at the wide spread of reeds in Suncheonman Bay wetland, you can feel the calm emotions of autumn. In particular, we recommend you to visit reeds at sunset because you can feel a greater pleasure with the autumn evening sunset. Admission hours for the Suncheon Bay reeds are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the entry fee is 8,000 won for adults. Suncheonman National Garden is famous for an attraction spot, too. Suncheonman National Garden is a garden built to protect Suncheonman Natural Ecological Park and is divided into east and west gates. The east gate has many things to see, including a theme park that recreates representative buildings from various countries. While the west gate has Korean-style buildings. In particular, the west gate is considered a good place to take pictures because it has been planted with pink reed called "Pink Muli."

 Autumn is just around the corner, a good season to go outside. Various events will be held, not only our school festivals but also in the region in the fall.
