In this class, students learn about clothes extensively. The professor says in lesson plan, goal of this class is wearing clothes correctly and learning common sense about the life pertaining to clothes and clothing and developing one’s own image. The class starts from fundamental of clothes and a few hypotheses about why we wear clothes. Thinking upon the basic reason of wearing clothes, students can learn about essence of wearing and make better choices. The professor is very practical so there are many practical aspects that will really help in actual life. For example, how to wear a tie, how to do successful shopping, how to choose clothe that is well-fitted with your body, right manners for men and how to make organized closet. Also the feature of this class is that there are practical hours in this class. Two hundreds of student sewing in class is a rare sight to see. On the palm-sized cloth, they practice needlework technique and button attaching. Then it is assessed later. As I said, she is very practical so when we done what we have to learn that day, the lesson of that day over. She doesn’t add anything like other professors. There is one final test and all the questions consist of what she said in the class. At the end of class, you’ll know more about clothing and fashion.

Self-Improvement for Twenty-First Century

In this class, students develop themselves from a variety of assignments and professor’s lecture. The word self-improvement may seem a little ambiguous but it has advantage that we can learn a lot of thing without regard to specific subject. The reason why this class is special is that the professor is our senior who graduated department of Japanese language and literature in KNU. So he seems to have affection to the students. He is running a business and he comes to Kunsan every week for this lecture from Seoul. He has passion and a lot of things we have to learn.
The contents of the class are various. All of the things are consist of what college students have to think at least once during their campus life. Because the professor is business man, most of the things are have to do things with corporation, management and leadership. For example, the class deals with global leaders, female leaders or challenging and so on. All of that helps students to have self-improvements. At the end of the class, you will notice yourself improved a little bit. Also the relationship between professor and students will deepen. I took a class last semester. At winter vacation professor and students gathered at Seoul and discussed many things beyond the classroom more freely. Moreover, at last summer vacation, students and professor gathered once more to go backpacking to Japan. As a student who went there said it was very exciting and through that travel he can learn a lot more than just travel. I fully recommend you this class.
