Introduction of the English newpaper at Kunsan university

We are a team of students from Kunsan University who write newspapers for foreign students. As the new school year begins in 2019, I am going to introduce the English newspaper for the foreign students who will start their studies at Kunsan University.

The Kunsan University English newspaper can be found on the first floor of each college and is published in the first week of each month along with the Korean language newspaper. The purpose of the newspaper is to increase interest in Korea by providing information about Korea. Interviews with exchange students (except in March) and regular articles are written about school facilities that will be useful for students to know, and additionally, Korean issues such as sports and culture are written.
 Through interviews with foreign students, students can learn about the lives of other exchange students who are studying in Kunsan University. Also, articles on school facilities tell you about many of the available school facilities by notifying you about less well-known facilities. That is how exchange students can actively use the facilities in schools. Lastly, articles on sports and culture, serve to convey the news of Korea as the most important content.
 Kunsan University's English-language newspaper in 2018 focused a little more on Korea as a whole country. This allowed to spend our culture in more meaningful ways and to produce interested in the history of Korea.
 In this English-language newspaper in 2019, the aim is to focus more on the coverage of Kunsan University. English newspapers team will actively convey information about school life because there is not much information for foreigners about school life. Also, we will often try to write about university activities and external activities that foreign students can do. Not only in school life but also various activities: it will be an opportunity that you can live a variety of lives in Korea.
