Recommended travel destinations for the Mentor-Menti Program

Kunsan university started the Mentor-Menti Program on March 25th. The Mentor-Menti Program is for helping foreign students to adapt to school life, deliver Korea culture information, and make friends. 45 Foreign students and 45 Korea students participate in the program and it proceeds for one semester.

So then, what activity is helpful for experiencing Korea culture near Kunsan University? This article recommends three activities.

First, go to Eunpa Lake Park. Many people find the park, which was selected as one of the most famous places to see cherry blossoms in April. People keep visiting all day long because the night scenery is different from the day scenery. We want you to feel spring with your mentor. And there is restaurant where can eat pa-jeon with mak-geol-li, a traditional Korean food. We recommend that you go there as a number of people  find the restaurant when they go to the park.

Second, go to the ceramic craft shop. There is MIC-B ceramic craft shop near Kunsan university. You can make ceramics (ex: cup, doll etc.) on a day. We recommend this activity if you want to make a special and precious souvenir in Korea. You will be satisfied as you can do the tradition experience and make a memorable souvenir.

Third, go to the rice-cake craft shop. There is ‘행복 빚는 떡시루 공방 (Mean : Rice cake craft shop making happy)’ near Kunsan university. You can make and eat rice cakes here. It will be good to just eat Korean tradition food, but making and eatng food together will be better. The activity can be a one day class and there is a discount for a group of five or more.

Other than that, there are many other activities that can be experienced and learned in Kunsan. You should do as many activities with your mentor as you can. And, We hope you will make many memories in Kunsan with Korean students.
